This site is dedicated to our native culinary art forum known as BBQ. True ‘low and slow’ cooking will be featured, with a special emphasis on sauces. Visit often for recipes, reviews, contests, interviews and more.

My name is Eric and I’m lucky enough to live on Long Island, NY. I have been fortunate enough to travel throughout the U.S. and to enjoy great regional cuisine.

I have always enjoyed BBQ, but my time living in Southern California solidified that relationship into an obsession. Now that I’m back in NY I’m enjoying the BBQ renaissance that we have been witnessing over the past few years.

I spend my ‘BBQ time’ helping to plan competitions, developing recipes, cooking when possible and getting together other enthusiasts.
